sniping...

has any one else noticed that sniping in mw2 is kinda crap???

i mean in waw you could get into some really nice spots, like on that beach one, where you could see like half the map. Also the water slowed runners down for you!

When ever ive tried to snipe on mw2 though guys are just running at full speed and really hard to hit. Afghan could have been such a good snipe spot but really you stick out like dogs ball up on that ridge!

What maps do you guys snipe on for the best result, if any???

Every time i snipe, i get shot from the side and back because there are like 3 access points to sniping spots. Havent got into it much yet

i quite enjoy sniping, its not that hard to snipe, trick is to never aim where they are (unless they are of course running at you or are stationary) aim where they would be in thr next step or few steps depending on wether there sprinting. always have stopping power on so you can have maximum effect with a bullet.

well i will snipe any lvl but i feel i do my best work on estate in the building on the hill. Although i'm a moving sniper so i'll get a couple of kills and move on i also try to stick with the team. someone else for the enemies to shoot lol
i really hate how none of the snipers seem to kill one shot about 60% of the time i have to take a second shot even if i got em in the chest so i go for the headshot

use the bolt action snipers with stopping power, i can guarantee that it will be a one shot one kill, unless they have pain killers on with there death streak

i have never been a big fan of sniping

The best sniper map is in fact highrise (i think) the one with the two office buildings and the helicopter in the middle. Theres a good spot there (google it) its where i got nuked by the sniper lol

I only Snipe on Wasteland...Big Open Area, Ideal of Sniping =D
I think the thermal scope should be used at all times, Lets you see enimies a lot easyer =D

yeah i did some sniping for the first time today.

i dont get how the silencer takes away from the distance it can shoot but what that actually means is you wont get a one hit kill with it unless its a head shot????
a clean shot in the chest of a stationary target should kill?? i dont get it..

I dont use a silencer, I never get one shot kills with it...So stuff it..Haha

yer I like sniping on Wasteland or Underpass were I can actually use my ghillie suit to hide in those shrubs that pop up, its sick though cause ya watch the killcam sometimes and ya see heaps of guys running around and shit not knowing ur there though there'll be tht fkin guy thats see's that muzzle flash then runs straight at you with just shooting like mad.
