After playing the game since the day it came out i still havent found any real good sniping, or just good spots to go , except on wasteland , theres a little hill next to the helicopter and there a tree on it and infront of that tree theres a bush and if you hide in the bush while sniping it seems to do pre good. Any found any others?

I don't really like to stay in one place for too long and I never use snipers but I have had some good killstreaks on highrise on top of the building with the big gas tank on it next to where the crane is

also a pretty obvious one but if you make it to the top of rust you are pretty much untouchable

i find that if u snipe in one place you get destroyed or no one comes, its best to move around to different sniping spots in an area

ive just started to snipe. i have some ok spots but its a bit hard to explain them. if you add me ill show them when we're online together.

also. has anyone noticed that even in a ghilli suit you stick out like dogs balls. the lighting is all wrong and even in the bushes your still obvious... the shadows dont conceal you at all.

and the silencers just destroy the guns... even head shots dont kill first shot!!! so with the first shot the dude shits his pants and runs straight for cover. and the recoil makes your next shot so much harder...
well thats my beef about sniping. haha

ye i agree with mossy you need to move if your sniping, thats what i do and i often do quite well sniping. Also when your moving u will need a good secondary weapon so try walking and keeping a high altitude.

whats the deal with acog. it stops you being able to hold your breath. so it keeps moving.

acog is basically turns your scope from a long range scope to a medium ranged scope, good if you move around alot and are reasombly close to your enemy, other wise i wouldnt recomend it cause i normanly snipe from long range

I hate the acog, too much recoil, the holographic is better. The thermal is good

With the acog, i always use the acog intervention,. becasue its kinda like a normal sniper scope (if you ahve good aim) but its also good for close range. but it all pretty much depends on your aim.
so im lucky, ive got an awesome aim Smile

lol i prefer the FMJ intervention quicker kills and better penetration(lol) i havent really used any other snipers yet except the M21 EBR its easy to snipe on any of the maps

I found a pretty good sniping spot on afghan. Its near where the turret is. Its like behind some rocks, and you can go prone and snipe pretty much the whole area around where the cliff is and so on to the entrance to the cave. Pretty good.

yeah when it comes to sniping you have to move around to different spots otherwise people you kill come after you and they find your spot by watching then killcam and then your dead.
