I was just wondering if anyone had any tips on getting killstreaks?

Im average at the game, i kill, i die. Most of the time i probably only get a 3 killstreak and then die.
I really want to get higher in the killstreaks (highest is 15). Im a run and gunner. Although today when i was playing TDM (the same match on the other thread [glitch]). I got so pissed (0 Kills, 6 Deaths, So yea, i was pretty pissed..Lol) that i just went complete suicidal in the game. Got me some kills (5 kill streak), but normally i dont go mental. My killstreaks are Predator Missle, Harrier and Chopper Gunner.

So yea, any tips?

Im the same mate (runaganner). Im always getting shot in the back or side but when i see someone in front of me im always the first to fire (unless im sprinting). My tip is to watch your back as often as u can and watch those upstairs windows as some of the maps are very vertical. Im sure someone will post better tips. I want some too lol

if u want killstreaks use hardline, have a class that suits u for each map. And learn to predict enemy movements.

I'm shit and don't follow these rules (except hardline) I just run around with the p90 lol

if you want killstreaks, make a stealth class, silenced sniper with cold blooded. and play hardcore headquaters and find a good sniping spot, and just try and go for kills, you sometimes dont see anyone for a minute or so but other times the respawn right in your sight. dont care about the HQ. i did it today. got 49 - 1 on derailed, wiht a killstreak of 35.

Yea, ive tried hardline before. I think its kinda useless in a way.

I hate silenced weapons though. When i use the sniper with a silencer, it always takes me 2-3 kills WITH Stopping Power

hunter is right with the silencer thing. dont use it on snipers though. your much better off taking your time with the snipers and getting one hit kills.

I would recommend setting a gun up with at least a silencer and if you can use bling and a heartbeat senser too. that way you can have a chance to see the enemy before they know your there. also with a silencer dudes like me wont come running when they see that red dot. haha

theres no point in having a killstreak perk that takes 9 kills if you can only get about three. so use the ones that you can get. uav care package etc.

also try to use streaks that kill for you. like random care packages with pave lows and such. you wont get the streak for their kills but they take some heat off you on the ground. guys will tend to look up and try to shoot that down while you shoot them.

i reckon you should just figure out a class type which your good at. Im best with a holographic M4a1 with a spas 12 with marathon, stopping power and steady aim/scrambler. My second best is my sniper class. some of you boys will know this from my cod4 days
im a very down to earth person. No complicated, flashy perks. just the ones thatll get you kills.
figure out what kind of player you are, and just keep playing like that

i find scrambler to be use less it just tells the person when ur coming, good players will exploit this

i like to use bling or fast reload, stopping power, and stead aim or commando i love it when it goes pro jump off buildings without getting hurt is awesome, except i changed class and killed myself

Commando lets u jump of buildings without any blood splatter?

yeah when it goes pro u can fall from any height within the map without damage

There is a pro perk (ninja maybe) that removes ur name/tag and the red crosshair over you. Perfect for snipers because when they look at you nothing appears

im the same i cant just sit ther and wait to b killed,i run and gun i dont mind if i get killed this way atleast this way i can get kills and i think of it this way its harder to hit a moving target than standing still camping

the perk ur thinking of is cold blooded, i haven't use it though seems like a good perk though, alot use it.

i would suggest using a riot shield lol i can do well with it sometimes. But seriously i guess a few tips i would give are don't sprint everywhere i no its tempting but i die all the time sprinting so try just walking around especially if your in close quarters and going round corners. Also you don't always have to aim down the sight try hip fire again if ur close it helps to perfect the range at which you should use hip fire and aiming down the sights. i guess another tip i would give is don't go sprinting through the centre of the map try sneaking along the sides. Last of all if ur a sniper like me try changing positions alot if you stay in one spot people come for revenge if ur lucky you can exploit this by moving to another spot looking at ur old on so you ca pick em off when they come for you.

lol and dont constantly throw stun granades and granades, jacko always dies while doing it

yea that sprinting one is a good tip. it takes half a second to pull out ur gun if you run into an enemy while sprinting. only to it if u can see well ahead of u

ye throwing stun grenades, frags, semtex and the unfortunatly timed reload kills me alot

my worst would be reloads or launching a uav. I have to reload after every kill. Sometimes in the middle of shooting someone lol

riot shields give you shit loads of xp if youre taking alot of bullets to the face
just crouch with it, use marathon, lightweight and commando adn youll do fine

ye that is exactly what i do but they sometimes can shoot through ti or maybe there shooting me in the side when the lag lies to me

probably lag or maybe fmj (not sure) but they can get ur legs. I always get shot around corners but the killcam shows me in the open. So annoying

i have the same problem with reloads kill someone then reload while still walking, so i use slight of hand

And yea, Im the same Thomas/Jack...Whichever..Lol. I tend to reload after every kill and while im reloading some retard comes around the corner and kills me. And theres nothing i can do but watch...So annoying Lol

Yeh i use the quick reload perk now, because i just die from it too often. Pro also gives you faster aiming which is good

And whatever is fine idc haha
