EMP emblem

Before i prestige I have made it my goal to get the animated EMP emblem

I need to call in 10 nukes. How do you think i should do it?

I currently have the 7-harrier, 11-chopper gunner and 15-emp. Now.. I have been having a bad day today so that might just be it but i am having a hard time getting the 7 killstreak (its probably my run and gun play style)

There is another way to get it which i i have 4-care package and 8-emergency air drop and pray for an EMP. What do you think would work best?

what you currently have because the other way you might not get it. right now it's assured ^_^

And kills from care package dont count towards killstreak rewards

Yeah i know.. But i might get a care package with an emp in it.. So i might get 10 of them easier then i get 10 emp's using my current set up.

When i first started playing MW2, i had Carepackage on all the time. I NEVER once got an EMP from it. Ive never had EMP on as killstreak reward. 15 kills seems a bit to steep for that, espesially when ur not garanteed a kill from it

I have had 1 EMP from a care package. Goldenstrike also said he got the majorty of his emps from care packages.

EMP's are rarer than AC130's. So good luck solely from Care Packages. The emblem does look nice but the only problem is the Electromagnetic Pusle just scrambles shit for 60 seconds. I play Hardcore TDM and Search and Destroy more than anything else so im used to no HUD.. No skin off my ass

Must of been lucky to get atleast over half of my care packages EMPs...?

Its amazing what happens when you steal peoples Care packages in FFA...Lol

I rarely got EMP's from care packages better off just tryin to kill your way there.

Umm.. Yeeeeaaaaah.. Thats why i said EMP's are rarer than AC130's.

I have only gotten 6 EMP's total.. The closest i got was 4/5 for Starfish Prime the Emblem as the 2 prior EMP's don't count until you have unlocked the challenge. As if it wasn't annoying enough already..

use Hardline pro or maybe even danger close pro, it may help a little

I used care package right up till my 1st prestige and I used emergency airdrop a fair bit as well and I never once got an emp, only ever got about 2 or 3 chopper gunners and ac130s as well. I agree with night too emp doesn't worry me, I don't use a sight on my guns anymore and well losing the hud for 60 seconds or whatever doesn't really worry me, might as well just get a uav jammer and jam their radar. The emblem does look good though.

The probability of any given item is as follows:

• 14.78% - UAV
  
• 14.78% - Ammo
  
• 13.04% - Counter-UAV
  
• 10.43% - Sentry Gun
  
• 10.43% - Predator Missile
  
• 9.57% - Precision Airstrike
  
• 6.09% - Harrier Airstrike
  
• 6.09% - Attack Helicopter
  
• 4.35% - Pave Low
  
• 4.35% - Stealth Bomber
  
• 2.61% - Chopper Gunner
  
• 2.61% - AC-130
  
• 0.87% - EMP
  

Those are approximate percentages..
HOWEVER. It does seem UAV's are much more common that 15%

Going by this data:
EMP = 0.87%
100 / 0.87
= 114 roughly..

Even though we calculated out of 100 Packages (to get the general idea) we can conclude that at an average 114 Care Packages an average of one will supply an EMP. Daunting isn't it.

42.6% of getting something shit (uav, counter uav or ammo), I don't like those odds

My mates friend said he got a Nuke, Chopper Gunner and Ac-130 all at the same time from an Emergency Airdrop. He said its Like 0.01% of getting a nuke.

But dont worry, I know hes talking bullshit...Haha....Just thought id like to share =D

I considered using hardline but i dont think its worth giving up cold-blooded for it.

Danger Close is Explosive radiance. If you have Scavenger and are planning to noob tube it all then maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe. But i still recommend the ultimate campy setup.

Any weapon with a Silencer and a Heartbeat sensor. Then camp it on up

best way to get it. doesnt really matter what setup you have, just use your favourite one.
then look at you online friends and whoever the lowest level or the worst player, and join his match. becasue you always play matched players and if your friends shit he'll be verusing shit players and should be alot easier to kill people.

I think that matchmaking stuff is a bunch of baloney! Sometimes i would search for a Dom game and get dumped into a match in progress where my team is getting dominated by people of higher rank and obviously better stats. So imo the system just puts u in the first available game it finds

nah not with me, i always join my mates games and there always full wiht shit people.
but sometimes in my games with higher ranks i get like lvl 3's .
