need to find a good meaningful song

for my school homework i have to find a meaningful song that i like and i'm a bit stuck, do you guyz know any good songs that the words in it are very meaningful? also can't have any swear words i have to know by the 10th hope you guyz know any

I am a huge fan of Megadeth and Metallica. It also depends on which type of meaningfull.

Here is a quick list:

Metallica: Leper Messiah. (Corruption and Greed in Churches)
Metallica: The Unforgiven. (Failure to live up to their expectations of harsh parents)

Metallica: Fade to Black. (About suicide)

Frank Sinarta (originally a French song): My Way. (Facing few regrets in a mans last moments on earth. Saying that his life he has lived up to good honour and integrity)

As you can see i like Metal

Foo fighters have some great songs

So does Eminem if you listen to the right ones (possibly white america)

I cant think of any other songs right now, but i will post when i can

I agree with Nightmare. Metallica have some pretty meaningful lyrics. But at the moment, dont have any good songs that are meaningful. All I listen to is Avenged Sevenfold and thats it (a little bit of Killswitch Engage)

oh I forgot to say some of old escape the fate (when ronnie) sang have some very meaningful ones.

You could try "story of the year" some of there songs are meaningful but i don't really pay much attention to that and u would have to check em for swearing.

hmm i don't really want a love story type of song lyrics like some of the songs u have sugested cause when i present it to the class with the lyrics it would look a bit gay because its meant to be meanigful to me... but thnx so far you've helped lots

songs like problems with the world are good, natural disastirs, war, racism and the sort are what i would like if any of you know of any songs with those kind of lyrics

This song isn't too gay i guess, i like it. Again i don't really listen to the words but i did today and i think it might be about war and leaving your family behind. Its "Terrified" by Story of the year, u could also try "message to the world" that one seems meaningful and more manly.
