Leaked Black Ops multiplayer info

1. You only get two perks in multliplayer, and this combination of perks determines your third perk.
2. There is a new armour system, e.g. Cold-Blooded and juggernaut are armours you can wear (not much detail given on this).
3. The FAMAS returns, but is no longer a 3-round burst weapon. Instead it is full-auto.
4. There is no M4. Instead another new gun mentioned seems like it will take its place, the SIG Commando.
5. Other new weapons confirmed include the RPK, Skorpion and MAC11.
6. There is no commando perk. (:])
7. The scavenger perk is included, but no longer replenishes equipment.
8. The One man army perk is also not included.
9. The highest killstreak reward (at this time in development) is 15.
10. There is no emergency airdrop, but there is a care package.
11. As confirmed before, killstreaks will not stack. For instance, if you get a 5 kills without dying and receive your killstreak reward, the kills you get with that killstreak reward will not count towards your next killsreak (e.g. 7 kill killsteak). You will have to get two more kills, in that instance, by other means to receive your next killstreak.
12. You can sprint to prone in the current build of the game. Basically this means you can dive straight on your belly after sprinting, instead of having to stop, crouch and than go prone.
13. The tactical knife is gone, while a new knife is being introduced: the ballistic knife. This is a knife that has a spring that can shoot a blade (in real life, not necessarily in the game).
14. The claymore is a piece of equipment, and you only get 1 per life.
15. Grenades are not considered equipment, and replenished by scavenger.
16. The M16 is in the game, and still a powerful weapon. (Or as Woody puts it, still the ****!)
17. The PSG1 sniper rifle is in the game.
18. UAV, airstrike and 3 types of helicopters are back as killstreaks. The Pave Low is confirmed as well, and has a feature unique to the game.
19. The SR-71 plane is also one of the killstreak rewards.

Sounds awesome - basically they fixed everything people hate in MW2 (except dedi servers)

Why is there a ballistics knife though? Wasnt that created by the Spetsnaz?

Also its understandable there is no M4... its the 70's

I hate that killstreak system though.
Theres basically no point in getting killstreaks anymore. Unless you want the challenges for them...

i would rather having less kill streaks and go back to simpler stuff

I like the killstreak idea, most people will be more likely to go for smaller killstreaks like uav's since they will be much harder to get. No more of someone getting a predator missile then 2 kills with it and then 4 kills from a harrier and onto chopper gunner after really only earning 5 kills.

Because it is a last ditch effort for c***s to dob you out of a kill and it is fucking cheap. Just running and then laying down to own you. Its ok if YOUR ALREADY laying down..
All in all actually Black-Ops looking pretty fucking terrible. It doesn't even seem worth trouble.

Dude, You cant really say a game is terrible because they dropped a perk and added a "Bad" feature. Hopefully they replace oma with a similar perk that isnt as easily abused.

Yeh a while back nightmare added (or joked about adding) a filter for the c word which filtered it to "Nightmare Rules"

anyway it also looks like that treyarch have gotten everything people hate about MW2 (which is a lot) and are either trying to fix it or are just removing it. So either its going to be seen as 'cheap and generic' or 'new and awesome'

We will find out in November

the sprint to prone will make kills sooo hard. i think hardcore will be the easier mode by a long way coz people running around can lie down at the first shot in normal and get away

There are times where i do in fact die and do in fact have to return to the position where i camped.
Also to get to a prime vantage point you need to walk or run. Obviously there is an increased probablity of encountering an enemy while you are on the move to a popular place. Albiet yes, i do camp. I also complain about those people who run, prone, shoot, run, prone, shoot then run again. Much like the enitre population of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 complain about Commando.

It is a stupid annoyance which cannot be stopped unfortunately. Imagine the complaints Infinity Ward would get if the increased the Melee distance of Commando to say; double its normal (or intended) length and made the normal Melee attack (not the Tactical Knife) double the speed it is now. How would YOU react to THAT? Its like throwing Petrol on Fire to put it out. Just making it worse.
