Whats up with the claymore?

Sometimes they walk right in front of them and they dont explode. I was thinking if the perk that lets u detect explosives (cant remember the name) is the reason or is it just a glitch. Does it happen to anyone else?

no you can short out claymores and sentry guns with flash bangs and stun grenades, so the claymores wont explode for a short time, you can tell by looking at it and seeing sparks off the top of it

well the perks sitrep, though I rarely use it
but tht only detects claymores, C4 and nades doesnt stop them
though i cant remember but one of the pro's to a perk reduces the time it takes for a claymore to go off so you'll run right past and they'll take like a few seconds extra.

kk never knew that. thanx for the info... and i have seen sparks on them... now i know why. and those pll who use marathon and light weight always manage to run straight past them too

Yea, theres a perk that can pretty much "Longer Defuse Time" for it to go off.

Ive seen a teammate running right past one and sparks started coming from it, and then like 3 secs later, it exploded.

Its the scrambler perk, when it is pro it delays claymores going off.

flashbands and stuns work the best

u can just run and jump over them

lol what i did in cod4 is i walked around a corner and before the claymore could blow up i shot it killing myself
