Tactical Layout
Anyone here us the tactical button layout. Apparently its much better for drop shots than the normal layout. Im thinking about changing it, anyone use it?

Re: Tactical Layout
Well im always accidentally swiping the knife when doing a quick aim and that is my pet hate so maybe ill give it a go. And what do u mean by drop shot?
Re: Tactical Layout
Ever seen people start shooting you and go prone so its harder for you to hit them? Thats dropshotting.

Re: Tactical Layout
but it will make u slower using the knife when u confront someone all of the sudden because ur thumb is on the stick
Re: Tactical Layout
Exactly. So its either have an advantage drop shotting or knifing.

Re: Tactical Layout
It would take m to long to get used to a different layout. After so long playin cod 4, waw and mw2 i would just keep crouching at people instead of knifing.

Re: Tactical Layout
Yeh I always hit knife when I am reloading, but I'm good at crouching fast anyway as both resistance series had O as grenade
Re: Tactical Layout
im sik of going to knife someone only to realise that they knife u. how can i make it so that i knife quicker?
Re: Tactical Layout
Well you can always get a Tactical Knife for one of your handguns. They make your knife action a lot faster. But it might also be you have lag in those games you get knifed first.
Oh and Ive started using the Tactical Layout, Im getting there, and I can definatly see how easy drop shots can be now.

Re: Tactical Layout
Its hard to get used to...
The other day, I saw someone and by habit I accidently pressed R3 (The knife button, but now the prone button) so I ducked and the guy tried to knife me, but since I ducked, He missed and then I knifed him. Lol I thought that was pretty funny.
I turned the layout back to default (mate was over and didnt want it like that haha) So when I tried playing default again, I kept pressing R3 to Duck and Circle to knife, But since it was normal that time I got pretty pissed Lol

Re: Tactical Layout
Doesnt really matter, I like both layouts. Like you said before, Its having an advantage either Dropshooting or Knifing.

Which pays off more. The advantage dropshotting or knifing?

Re: Tactical Layout
Probably the Knifing, Coz Im sure you'll see more people up close when you can knife them. And with the dropshooting, it just takes a skilled player to notice the person has gone prone and can probably kill the person thats dropshooting.
